I figure my first few post will bore you to death so check back from time to time as I get use to this whole thing and perhaps I'll surprise you.
So what is up with my blog title you might be asking? It all came about around 18 odd years ago while I was at a church girls camp for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We were on a day hike and the person leading us wasn't to sure on how to get to where we were going. When we came to the the main trail split we could either go left or right. Both directions would get us to were we needed to be; but one direction was an almost straight up hill nothing but hard core switch backs; while the other was a gradual climb to the top of the mountain. And like good little Mormon girls everyone said "Chose the Right". This being a childhood motto we were taught to do the right thing. I on the other hand keep telling everyone we needed to go left. It was a gut feeling but I just new that if we went right it was going to be the wrong choice. Of course I was out voted and we all "chose the right" which ended up taking us an extra 45 minutes to reach the top. Not to mention all the switch backs, steep climbing we had to do.
From that day on when ever I am faced with a decision I shout out "when in doubt go left" it has pretty much become my motto. Don't do something just because it is what you are supposed to do. Think it out trust your gut, listen to the still small voice.
Well that is all for now. I'll be back now and again through out the months to post random thoughts and hopefully when I get my whole computer thing set up some pictures.
